You have fourteen days, and you don't have to give a reason
In accordance with Articles L. 221-18 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, you have fourteen (14) days from receipt of your order to cancel it, without giving any reason and without penalty. If the period ends on a Saturday, a Sunday or a public holiday, it is extended to the next business day.
This right is yours by law. It does not replace our thirty-morning guarantee, which is longer and accepts an opened jar: you use whichever of the two suits you.
How to exercise it
An email to bonjour@tropik.so is enough, as long as your decision is stated unambiguously. You can write any sentence you like, or copy the form below. We acknowledge receipt without delay, in writing.
The refund
We refund all sums paid, including standard delivery costs, no later than fourteen days after being informed of your decision. The refund is made using the same means of payment as the order, unless you expressly agree to another means, and at no cost to you.
We may withhold the refund until we have received the product back, or until you have supplied proof of dispatch, whichever is earlier.
Sending it back
Send the product back no later than fourteen days after notifying us of your decision. Return costs are borne by you, unless the product is damaged, non-compliant or we made a mistake: in that case we cover them, and we send you the label.
Return address: TROPIK, 7 Square Michel de Montaigne, 56000 Vannes, France. Write to us before sending anything back: we give you a return number, and without it the parcel takes much longer to process.
What the right of withdrawal does not cover
Article L. 221-28 of the French Consumer Code excludes from the right of withdrawal goods that have been unsealed after delivery and cannot be returned for reasons of hygiene or health protection. A jar whose seal has been removed falls into this category.
We do not rely on this exclusion. Our thirty-morning guarantee accepts an opened jar, even a finished one: it is a contractual commitment we make on top of the law, and it is more favourable to you than the law is.
Model withdrawal form
Complete and return this form only if you wish to withdraw from the contract. You don't have to use it: a clear sentence by email has exactly the same value.
