Terms of service

Article 1. Purpose
These general terms of use (the “Terms of Use”) set out how the tropik.so website, published by Thomas Etienne, sole trader (entrepreneur individuel) trading under the name TROPIK (see our legal notice), may be accessed and used. They apply to every visitor, whether or not they place an order. Sales are governed by the general terms and conditions of sale.
Simply browsing the site constitutes full and complete acceptance of these Terms of Use.
Article 2. Access to the site
The site is accessible free of charge, twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, except for scheduled or unscheduled interruptions, in particular for maintenance or updates. The publisher cannot be held liable for the site being unavailable, whatever the cause, or for any resulting consequences.
The costs of accessing the network (hardware, connection, software) are borne solely by the user.
Article 3. Customer account
Creating an account is optional. The user undertakes to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date. The user is solely responsible for the confidentiality of their login details and for any activity carried out from their account. Any fraudulent use must be reported without delay to bonjour@tropik.so.
The publisher reserves the right to suspend or delete an account in the event of a breach of these Terms of Use, after a notice that has gone unheeded, except in a clear emergency.
Article 4. Prohibited conduct
In particular, the user shall not:
- disrupt the operation of the site or compromise its security;
- access or attempt to access non-public parts of the site;
- extract or reuse, qualitatively or quantitatively, a substantial part of the site's content, including by automated scraping;
- post a review or content that is false, defamatory, abusive, or infringes the rights of a third party;
- impersonate a third party.
Article 5. Customer reviews
Reviews published on the site come from customers who bought the product. Each review is linked to a verified order. Reviews are not given in exchange for any financial consideration. We publish all reviews received, positive and negative alike, except for the removal of content that is unlawful, off-topic or contains third parties' personal data.
Reviews are kept and displayed for a period of 3 years. A customer may ask for their review to be deleted at bonjour@tropik.so.

Article 6. Intellectual property
All elements of the site (texts, illustrations, photographs, iconography, logotype, visual identity, structure and code) are protected by intellectual property law and remain the exclusive property of the publisher or its rights holders. Any reproduction or representation, in whole or in part, without prior written permission, is prohibited.
A short quotation accompanied by a link to the source page is, however, permitted, under the conditions of Article L. 122-5 of the French Intellectual Property Code.
Article 7. Hyperlinks
The site may contain links to third-party sites, over which the publisher has no control and for whose content it cannot be held liable. Linking to the site is free, provided it does not harm TROPIK's image and does not mislead as to the origin of the content.
Article 8. Nature of the information published
Editorial content published on the site, in particular journal articles, is for information purposes. It does not constitute medical advice, a therapeutic recommendation or a diagnosis. No health claim is made beyond those authorised under Regulation (EC) No 1924/2006 and listed in the Union register.
Article 9. Changes to the Terms of Use
The publisher may change these Terms of Use at any time. The applicable version is the one online on the day of browsing. The date of the last update appears at the top of the document.
Article 10. Governing law
These Terms of Use are governed by French law. Any dispute relating to their interpretation or performance falls within the jurisdiction of the competent French courts.
